As the name suggests, comprehensive insurance offers the most cover for you. However, it is important to remember that a comprehensive policy may not cover all eventualities. It is important to read policy details carefully to make sure you understand your level of cover.

Third Party, Fire and Theft

It is the most basic form of car insurance that AIG Ireland offers. It covers your costs if your car is damaged by theft, stolen or damaged by fire. Third party, fire and theft will also cover the costs of the other person involved in the event of an accident with your car but it will not cover your personal costs or the costs to repair your car if an accident occurs no matter who is at fault.
